Punishment or Relief

 

The boy above has been spanked and given corner time.  Do you feel that this corner time with his bare, red bottom fully on display a continuation of his punishment or a relief period?

To be sure during corner time a boy is not free to do as he wishes, but is very much under his dad's control.  Any attempt to leave the corner before he is told to, will result in a further spanking.

During corner time, the boy is usually still fully naked, or at least bare-bottomed and this can be embarrassing.

Personally, I have always found my time in the corner to be somewhat restorative after the trauma of having my bottom spanked.
