From Man to Boy

As participants in male to male adult spanking, both the active and submissive partners realize that the progression of the submissive male from young man to boy is perhaps the most significant part of the whole experience.

The act of spanking reinforces this progression better than almost any other action. 

It begins by positioning the submissive in an embarrassing and vulnerable position such as over the dominant partner's knee.  In such a position, the submissive feels completely exposed and is unable

to prevent the dominant from touching him in the most intimate manner.

This can be a highly disquieting sensation for the young man, particularly as the touching mostly occurs around his buttocks, a very private area for young men, but not so much for boys.

Initially the spanking itself may not be especially painful, but the symbolism of another man touching your most private areas is highly charged and does much to move the young man towards boyhood.

The next stage in this progression is to enforce some level of nudity on the young man, for the convenience of the the dominant partner.

This would normally begin with the removal of the young man's pants. 

With only his underwear now covering his most private parts, the young man will now feel more vulnerable than ever, and once the spanking resumes, the feeling of a man's hand with only a light

covering protecting his buttocks will feel much more intimate and intimidating.

This is ultimately leading up to the moment when the young man is stripped fully naked.  This is perhaps the most significant part of his transition because surely a man would not let another man strip him against his will.  The fact that he is acquiescent, means that he has progressed to boyhood.

Once the young man, now interacting as a boy, is fully naked and re-positioned for the remainder of his spanking, the level of intimacy is heightened exponentially.

The boy will feel totally under the control of the man. The man has full authority and ability to hold and

touch him howsoever he wants.  No man would allow this.  He is now completely reacting as would a boy.

The emphasis on the buttocks (the bottom) is a key factor in the progression I believe.  Boys are quite often touched on their bottoms by adults, men rarely are unless a sexual act is involved.  Yet the young man has completely exposed his bottom to be used however the dominant partner wishes, and this included the painful slapping that a spanking entails.
 

Once sir says the punishment is over the boy is free to clamber up, but there's no way to maintain your dignity getting up of a man's knee with a bare and very red bottom!

Once up, the boy, still naked is face to face with the man who just pulled his pants down, put him over the knee and spanked his bare

bottom.  There is nothing left to hide or pretend.  You are now very much man and boy! 

Yet if everything is done right, there is no animosity between man and boy.  The boy is now totally

respectful of the man who brought him back to basics and made him a boy again.  After all, that is what both want!
