A boy's responsibilities during a spanking

Actually, boys have very few responsibilities during spankings, although they are, of course, full participants in the event.

Their primary responsibility is to ensure that their bottoms are correctly positioned.  Dads need full access to the boys' bottoms and while most dads will certainly give complete instructions on how they want the boys to present their bottoms, once the spanking begins, the boys themselves are generally in charge of ensuring they maintain their positions.

This can be testing, especially if the spanking is severe.  The impulse to protect your bottom is a strong one.  This could include covering your bottom with a hand or indeed, moving your bottom out of the line of fire.

Neither of these options, of course, are permissible and either one would no doubt warrant increased punishment.

Beyond the practicalities, the boy is in charge of the aesthetics as well.  Part of the appeal of spanking is its visual appeal.  A properly presented bottom can be a thing of great beauty and the boy can enhance this visual.  Examples of this are the subtle arching of the back, ensuring legs are straight, etc.

When I am getting a spanking I always try to present my bottom exactly as instructed.  While much of this decision comes from the desire to do as I am told to mitigate how much I will be punished, there is also an element of pride about the visual appeal my bottom presents!
