 I believe the cane is the final solution for misbehaving boys. Faced with a persistently misbehaving boy, I think a good solution to the misbehaving problem Is a feel of the cane   There is a solemnity about a caning that transcends other forms of corporal punishment and this feeling pervades from the moment it is mentioned.  Whereas the threat of a spanking may have no effect, once dad says the magic words - "I am going to cane you," bad behavior stops immediately. "Go and fetch the cane!" Will see the boy hurrying to do just that and then the command to "Strip!" will similarly be followed without question. The boy should then place the cane ready and bend over, his bare bottom fully ready for dad. Then apply the cane!  It's going to hurt and allowing the boy to shreak and cry is very cathargic and allows the boy to atone for his bad behavior. The resulting sore bottom is a small price to pay for restored order in the house. A period in the naught...
