The movie Distant Bridges has a great caning scene.   There are 3 main protagonists. The star is a young actor with a handsome face and a shapely bottom. The authoritanical headmaster who orders the caning. The young teacher who actually canes the boy The boy has been caught in the girls' school, a breach of the rules, and he is sentenced to 6 strokes with the cane for this and 6 more for the Empire. The boy is sent next door where the teacher is waiting reluctantly to cane him. However, both know how this works, and the boy is soon bending over so he can be caned on his bottom.  But the reluctant teacher does not cane him hard. The headmaster tells the teacher to cane the boy properly. So the teacher takes aim at that perfectly positioned bottom and land 12 strokes right there. He does an excellent job! With the caning over, the young actor does an excellent job portraying a boy with a very sore bottom trying to hold it together. But he also shows us the reality of how 12 strokes
